Administrator-Current Planning

The purpose and mission of the Department of Metropolitan Development works to shape the city’s identity by strengthening people and places, building upon our history, and fostering visionary development. This Administrator-Current Planning position is an integral member of the Department of Metropolitan Development’s (DMD) executive leadership team and is responsible for the vision, direction, management, and operations of the Current Planning section in the Division of Planning. This position directly supervises the section’s principal planners, as well as other administrative and support staff, and is responsible for all hiring and management. In addition, the incumbent works with the DMD Director and CFO in the development of Current Planning’s annual budget and monitors the budget throughout the year.
