  • A skillful fusion of exterior materials coupled with a discernible rhythm in the fenestration imparts a delightful aesthetic to the structure. The upper-level mechanical space introduces an intriguing perspective, prompting contemplation on whether the deliberate visibility of equipment at night was intentional, adding a layer of curiosity to the overall design.

  • Beautifully integrated into the downtown fabric. A welcoming façade from the exterior to the interior.
  • This newly constructed building is a delightful addition that harmoniously complements the existing structures in its vicinity, aligning seamlessly with their scale and overall style while infusing modern twists. The exterior, though simple, exudes an understated elegance.  The interior reveals a captivating sense of fun, prompting a desire within myself to nominate the building for recognition in both new construction and interior architecture. The thoughtful execution is truly commendable.
  • The design, specifically the interiors, set this boutique hotel apart from anything we’ve come to expect from the hospitality industry. What a great addition for the Fort Wayne community.

  • Adaptive reuse projects are exceptionally challenging. This project embraces its industrial past and creates a comfortable and fun environment for its users.
  • A very well executed reuse of the existing building.  Transforming voluminous interior spaces into environments that are simultaneously comfortable and inviting is a challenging feat, and your accomplishment in this regard is noteworthy. The exterior restoration stands out as a shining example of successful preservation and renovation, breathing new life into the structure with a thoughtful touch.

The thoughtful and exciting use and reuse of building materials, adds a distinctive dimension to the overall design. Despite any personal reservations about translucent panels, their incorporation in this instance is executed with thoughtfulness and style, contributing to the project’s unique aesthetic in a compelling way.
  • The dedication of both owner and design team is evident. Maintaining the original location and adding a new foundation wasn’t a simple task. The addition of glass connects the landscape to the interior.

  • The selection and utilization of building materials and finishes in this project are exemplary, initially creating the impression of well-executed new construction. Upon closer examination, it becomes apparent that this is, in fact, a renovation project. The completion is commendable, and the exterior setting is impeccably presented. To enhance the appreciation of the transformation process, incorporating before-and-after pictures would have provided valuable insights into the project’s evolution, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of the meticulous work involved.

The meticulous selection and use of interior finishes and furnishings demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and skill. The overall design exudes an atmosphere that goes beyond aesthetics, notably inspiring a sense of wellness throughout the space.

  • This space just says rock ‘n’ roll. Each area, seemingly dedicated to its own corner of music, reflects a musical identity evident not only in the thematic sections but also in the careful selection of materials and finishes. The standout feature, the piano key ceiling, is a testament to the creativity invested in the design. Crafting a structure with such distinctive character requires a departure from conventional choices, and the result is both fun and exceptionally well-executed. It’s clear that every aspect, from concept to realization, has been approached with a unique and imaginative touch.
