All AIA Indianapolis member architects in good standing who have led the design of completed projects inside or outside of Indiana are invited to compete for Honor, Merit, and Citation Design Awards. If a project had both a design architect and an architect-of-record, submissions must include the names of both. Spend lunchtime on Tuesday, July 14, at the Central Library with fellow members of AIA Indianapolis’ Women in Architecture for a tour of the recently renovated Children and Teen spaces. The tour will examine how the project team balanced the needs of patrons and staff through thoughtful approaches to safety, comfort, visibility, supervision, and literacy-centered learning.
