AIA Northern Indiana September Program – Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Renovations at the Potawatomi Zoo

This hour-long tour will provide attendees an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of recent renovations at the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, where thoughtful design responds to the complex and changing needs of animal care, public safety, and facility operations. The tour will visit the Asian Tiger exhibit currently under construction, the Lion exhibit holding area converted from a former chimpanzee habitat, the Giraffe exhibit holding area, and the Bear exhibit holding area. This program is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m., at the Potawatomi Zoo and registered attendees are asked to meet at the Main Gate near the Public Entrance off of the parking lot. Potawatomi Zoo Executive Director, Josh Sisk, will be providing the tour. Attendees will earn 1 AIA HSW LU. Following the tour a Happy Hour/Reception will be held at the Bear Lodge Cafe.
