AIA Fort Wayne is the voice of the Architecture profession in the Northeast corner of the Hoosier state. This Section of AIA Indiana has an active YAF group and has monthly meetings, programs and building tours. Representing 9 of the state’s 92 counties this Section’s membership largely calls the Fort Wayne metro area home. The Section’s golf outing is always a member favorite and has for years been a sold-out event.

This course, scheduled for Thursday, March 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Kaizen Center, 7100 West Jefferson Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, equips designers to implement ADA signage requirements that promote health, safety, and welfare in the built environment. Topics include material selection, tactile sign components, and strategic placement to enhance wayfinding, support emergency response, and ensure accessible navigation for all building users. AIA Fort Wayne Indiana Young Architects Forum (YAF) Invites You to the 5th Annual Hand Rendering Event with Ron Dick – The AIA Fort Wayne YAF is excited to host their 5th Annual Hand Rendering Event featuring the one and only Ron Dick. The program is planned for Wednesday, March 18, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., at Artlink, Slide Gallery Room, 300 E Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Join AIA Fort Wayne YAF for a nostalgic journey back to your first-year CAP days as Ron shares his signature linework and hand rendering techniques developed through years of professional experience. From elevations to perspectives, Ron will walk participants through his process while offering helpful tips and tricks along the way. This hands-on session is a great opportunity to sharpen your sketching skills, reconnect with the fundamentals of drawing, and spend time with fellow young professionals. So, dust off your microns, grab some trace paper, and come enjoy an evening of drawing, learning, and fun. No registration is required, just show up ready to sketch.
