Tenant Services Manager - Indianapolis-Marion County Building Authority

Position Summary:

The candidate for this position will be the most visible representative of the Building Authority to our tenants. The position primarily entails managing tenant-requested changes in City County Building and other Building Authority facilities and serves as the point person for all alterations and change requests.

Specific Duties:

  1. Design, plan and coordinate tenant alternations and other changes.
  2. Assess tenant needs and provide space planning and furniture layout.
  3. Work with Building Authority craft shops to estimate and execute work.
  4. Use CMMS software system to create estimates and purchase orders.
  5. Prepare specifications for interior finish items and compete proposals.
  6. Estimate and prepare alteration proposals for tenants.
  7. Execute alteration projects and associated furniture moves.
  8. Maintain project schedule and manage tenant expectations.
  9. Prepare post-project close out for accounts receivable.
  10. Maintain space allocation reports and all project documentation.
  11. Coordinate carpet, furniture and window covering selections; purchase and schedule installations.
  12. Maintain and update building signage and directories.
  13. Supervise furniture moving department.



  1. College degree in architecture, space planning or related field.
  2. Expertise working with AutoCAD and space design /layout.
  3. Must be a good listener and have excellent communication skills.
  4. Experience in / aptitude for interior design.
  5. Capable of managing projects from inception through close out.
  6. Must be personable and friendly with a desire to serve others / customer oriented.
  7. Must be organized and maintain files/ keep an up-to-date sample product library.
